How Beliefs Work

How Beliefs Work

[16 pgs, 2.9mb]

Beliefs agnostically self-reinforce instantaneously, creating feelings, thoughts, and actions in that order, which themselves create more self-reinforcing feelings, thoughts, and actions.

That rational statement is supported biologically by research conducted by Dr. Bruce Lipton as expressed in “The Biology of Belief”, and reinforced rationally and biologically by Bessel van der Kolk's lifelong practice with PTSD as articulated in “The Body Keeps The Score”.

These three works reciprocate and compliment each other. Only my work deconstructs the role of religion in general and specifically Evangelicalism to reveal what both books point to: you are more powerful than you have been told.
